2007 Annual Appeal

2007 Annual Appeal Final Results:
$132,000 from 550 donors!

Thank You for your support.

In 2006, US SAILING raised over $53,000 through its Annual Appeal to develop a curriculum, community sailing handbook, and rating database for disabled sailors.  These projects would not have been possible without this generous additional support from our members.

On average, our US Sailing Team members have each participated in 6 US SAILING Youth or Junior Championships and/or Junior Olympic events.  These events are where new sailors are taught, nurtured and encouraged.  Each event includes seminars and coaching.  In 2007, over 4,700 youth sailors participated in 22 USA Junior Sailing Festivals and 7 Junior Championships held across the country.  Whether you race offshore or around the buoys; are involved with race administration or judging; or are a proud parent, we hope you agree that US SAILING must encourage and develop the next generation.

We ask you to join us in our support of US SAILING’s youth programs.  A gift of any size is appreciated and tax deductible.  The 2007 Annual Appeal goal is $75,000 to be used to further support and expand US SAILING’s youth programs.  Every donor will be recognized in the 2007 Annual Report to Members.  Donors of $500+ will receive a limited edition custom knit 63" X 63" US SAILING blanket.

Kindest regards,
