Thank you so much for your support of US Sailing!
2011 Annual Appeal
Annual Report Cover

Give Now 11

Our goal at US Sailing is to support you, a 21st Century sailor. We are continually working to provide you relevant knowledge and services today, while helping to shape the sport for tomorrow.

Here are a few examples of how we are fulfilling our mission together as a sailing community:
  • Access: Again this year we were honored to run the USOC Paralympic Military Sports Camp for 70 wounded veterans and soldiers.

  • Safety: We are coordinating the investigation of three incidents this summer. Any lessons that can be learned will be reported and will add to our collective knowledge. We are evolving our Safety at Sea Seminars and working directly with the Coast Guard to improve Search and Rescue tools.

  • Leadership: Nearly 400 sailors from 185 yacht clubs attended our inaugural Yacht Club Summit this year. Twenty-two presentations were made from Membership Recruitment and Community Access to Junior Programs and Financial Stability. It was a leap forward for knowledge sharing!

  • Integrity: Through our training of race officials, publishing the Racing Rules of Sailing and establishing standards for coaching, US Sailing creates and maintains a level playing field and promotes high quality racing for all of us.
We are constantly working to promote participation in, and visibility of, the sport we love. Our annual appeal is an important contributor to our work and I ask that you give as generous a donation as you can today. Every contribution is meaningful to us and deeply appreciated. Thank you!
